MIT researchers developed a new AI control system that dramatically improved the agility of a tiny flying robot, increasing its speed by roughly 450 percent and enabling it to perform ten somersaults in eleven seconds. The advance could eventually allow miniature robots to search earthquake rubble and navigate hazardous spaces inaccessible to conventional drones.
