Embark Studios revealed its Frozen Trail update for Arc Raiders, launching October 8, described as bigger than expected with a new ARC enemy, gun upgrades, a new map, decorable personal outposts, and a reworked skill tree that removes some old skills in favor of new ones to support more playstyles. The update will also replace the game's existing Raider Deck system with a new Reward Pass, which unlike prior seasons will not be entirely free, though developers say it will pay for itself.
