Russian-appointed managers have taken control at the Russian units of Auchan, Nestlé, Lemana PRO (formerly Leroy Merlin) and FM Logistic, following Putin's decree placing them under temporary state control. A police general has pledged to protect seized Auchan stores from drone attacks, and Putin separately ordered the seizure of U.S. packaging maker Aptar's Russian plant, transferring it to the same operator that took over Danone's Russian assets in 2023.
