Meta's experimental AI assistant Muse was found to expose its internal filesystem to curious users, offering an unusual look under the hood of the chatbot despite Muse itself indicating it wasn't supposed to reveal such details. Rather than patching the behavior, Meta's Nat Friedman said the company would let Muse continue exposing the filesystem to those who ask. Separately, Meta opened an early access program for new Muse features, requiring interested users to request inclusion directly through the assistant, expanding public exposure to the still-developing product.
