Russia launched a series of large-scale drone and missile attacks on Ukraine over September 24-25, striking Kyiv, Kyiv Oblast, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia and other regions. In Kyiv, a drone hit a high-rise residential building in the Pecherskyi district, killing a teenager and injuring seven; a separate strike on an office building in the Solomianskyi district killed at least four people, including a 14-year-old Israeli citizen, and sparked a large fire. The overall toll from the September 25 Kyiv attacks rose to seven killed and 57 injured, with a youth national hockey team player among those hospitalized. Data centers, internet providers, the Parkovy convention center, and a school in Kyiv Oblast's Vyshhorod district were also damaged. Elsewhere, a Russian drone killed one energy worker and injured another in Odesa Oblast, a morning attack on Odesa killed one person, and strikes on Zaporizhzhia damaged a hospital and ambulances, injuring two. Ukraine's Air Force reported repelling waves of over 160 to nearly 300 drones per night, including dozens of jet-powered Shaheds, underscoring the intensifying scale of Russian aerial attacks as both sides continue nightly exchanges.
