James Copenhaver, 76, one of three attendees shot during the July 2024 assassination attempt on then-candidate Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, has died in Pittsburgh. The gunman shot Copenhaver twice and killed another attendee, Corey Comperatore, while a bullet grazed Trump's ear during the attack.
