Tropical Depression Fay, located about 1,125 miles west-southwest of the Azores, has weakened further with its structure degrading under wind shear; its intensity is estimated between 30-35 kt (about 35 mph) with a central pressure of 1010 mb. The system is moving very slowly southward and poses no threat to land. GDACS rated it a Green alert with no population impact reported. The Atlantic outlook also noted the closing chapter of Post-Tropical Cyclone Gonzalo to the east.
