New Caledonia experienced a sequence of earthquakes early Sunday, including magnitude 5.0 and 5.1 events near Tadine reported by GDACS as potentially affecting about 2,000 people within 100km, followed by a stronger M6.6 earthquake 80km ENE of Tadine recorded by USGS.
