The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards took place Sunday, September 27 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, hosted by Snoop Dogg. Madonna opened the show with her first VMAs performance in over two decades, bringing out Sabrina Carpenter and Charli XCX for a medley including 'Bring Your Love,' and went on to win seven awards including Artist of the Year and Best Dance, at one point inviting Charli XCX and Troye Sivan on stage. The red carpet and arrivals drew major names including Taylor Swift, Lisa, Raye, Paris Hilton, Tyla, Chloe Bailey and Harry Jowsey, with photos also surfacing of off-camera and backstage moments from the night.
