The 2026 VMAs featured a tribute medley to the late George Michael, with performances from Sombr, Raye and Teddy Swims joined by rising U.K. artists Meek and Saint Harison. Adam Lambert made a surprise appearance to close out the segment, singing some of Michael's biggest hits.
