Volkswagen announced that it will replace the recently discontinued ID.4 crossover with the upcoming ID.Tiguan, marking a strategic decision to use the brand's more recognizable traditional nameplate for its electric vehicle lineup. The ID.Tiguan will launch in Europe in early 2027 and join other electrified models like the ID.Polo and ID.Cross as part of Volkswagen's refreshed EV portfolio.
