Ukraine's General Staff reported Russia lost 1,690 soldiers killed and wounded along with over 600 pieces of equipment, including eight tanks and 57 artillery systems, over a 24-hour period. Separately, Russia attacked Ukraine with 170 strike drones overnight on 26-27 September, of which Ukrainian air defence downed 147, with strikes recorded at 18 locations.
