NASA has launched the second season of ORBIT (Opportunities in Research, Business, Innovation, and Technology), its student innovation challenge focused on Earth technology development and deep-space exploration. Registration for the 2026–2027 challenge is open through November 16, 2026. The program aims to bring university and college student innovation to the forefront of space and Earth science research, building on the success of its inaugural year.
