An overnight Russian strike on September 28 hit an apartment building in Kharkiv's Saltivskyi district, destroying lower floors and injuring 25 people, including nine children, according to regional governor Oleh Syniehubov. A 13-year-old boy later died in hospital from severe burns after the same strike also killed his mother in Katerynivka, Kharkiv Oblast.
