To mark The Last of Us Day 2026, Naughty Dog studio head Neil Druckmann confirmed the studio is developing two new projects within The Last of Us universe, currently in very early stages. Druckmann also said the studio's next original game, the sci-fi title Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, won't be fully revealed until 2027. The announcements came alongside a charity livestream and fan celebrations for the September 26 anniversary, generating significant excitement among fans about the franchise's expansion beyond the existing games and HBO series.
