At its DevDay keynote on Tuesday, OpenAI unveiled Dots, an always-on AI agent with customizable avatars powered by its GPT-6 Astra model, positioned as a rival to Meta's Muse. The company also launched features aimed at turning ChatGPT into an alternative to the traditional app store, letting people and AI agents discover and use software directly within it, alongside a new suite of office productivity tools that puts OpenAI in more direct competition with Microsoft.
