Dutch police arrested a 24-year-old Amsterdam man on September 15 in connection with ShinyHunters, the hacking group that claimed responsibility for breaches at Ticketmaster, Rockstar Games, and reportedly the FBI. The arrest came just before the group claimed to have stolen FBI employee data from the agency's website. Dutch authorities further revealed the suspect allegedly had plans on his laptop to organize the murder of two people, adding a violent dimension to what had been primarily understood as a cybercrime case. Neither Dutch police nor the FBI have publicly named the suspect.
