Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is expected to fire additional top-ranking military officials as part of what appears to be a broader purge of the military leadership structure. Roughly 20 admirals and generals have already either been fired or resigned since Hegseth assumed control of the Department of Defense, with more removals anticipated in the coming period.
