Capcom has detailed the difficult process of bringing Monster Hunter Wilds to Nintendo Switch 2, describing it as a "painstaking, seemingly endless process" to achieve a stable 30 frames per second. The port, arriving December 5, will include all of the game's free DLC updates and new monsters released since launch. The Switch 2 version will also add local co-op support, evoking nostalgia for handheld multiplayer sessions from the PSP and 3DS eras, as Capcom works to bring the demanding title to Nintendo's new hardware.
