Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman warned that the kingdom 'will not hesitate to respond firmly to any threat,' reaffirming support for the Saudi-led coalition against the Houthis and citing the new 'Mecca Defence Pact' with Turkey and Pakistan as a regional security initiative. The EU Aviation Safety Agency separately issued an advisory on Saudi airspace due to renewed fighting with the Houthis, while BBC correspondents reported from Yemen's front lines showing pro-government forces battling Houthi advances. The developments point to a renewed flare-up in the long-running Yemen conflict, with Gulf states voicing concern over Houthi attacks and international aviation bodies monitoring the risk to commercial flights.
