Tropical Storm Nolo, which had reached typhoon-strength winds of up to 250 km/h at its peak, tracked through the Central Pacific toward Hawaii between September 13 and October 1, 2026, at one point positioned a few hundred miles west of Lihue and threatening the Big Island. GDACS's final notification on the storm, issued as it waned, recorded no population affected by Category 1 or higher winds. No Atlantic tropical cyclones were active as of October 1, and the NHC's Atlantic outlook forecasts no formation over the next seven days.
