At its Brighton conference, the UK Green Party's leader Zack Polanski called for Palestine Action to be de-proscribed, saying activists should have charges against them dropped. Party members are also set to vote on an unprecedented motion declaring Zionism a form of racism, which if passed would make the Greens the first major British party to adopt such a position; activists argue continued pressure on the government is needed following Foreign Secretary Miliband's announced reset of UK Israel policy.
