Russia carried out a series of strikes across multiple Ukrainian regions on October 2. In Kharkiv, guided aerial bombs hit two districts, killing two people and injuring 32, including children, with more feared trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, a strike sparked a fire in an apartment building, injuring three women, while in Mykolaiv port infrastructure, an administrative building, warehouses, offices and a hotel were damaged and three people injured. Additional strikes damaged a historic local history museum and a protected WWII-era howitzer in Kherson, and Russian forces twice attacked a Ukrnafta petrol station in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast without casualties. The strikes underscore Russia's continuing campaign against civilian and energy-related infrastructure across front-line and rear Ukrainian cities.
