Israeli strikes across Gaza killed multiple Palestinians over the weekend. Three strikes hit a residential building in western Gaza City's al-Asala area, killing five people including Mary Abu Dawud and her mother Maysaa/Maysa Abu Daoud, members of Gaza's small Christian community, whose deaths were mourned by family members describing indiscriminate Israeli violence. Separately, the Israeli military said it killed the director of Turkish NGO Deniz Feneri in a strike on a vehicle in Khan Younis, accusing him of being a Hamas armed-wing member, alongside a separate strike it said killed a Hamas commander. In central Gaza's Deir al-Balah, a six-year-old girl, Suha Mohammed Nasser, died after being shot while sheltering in a tent in Wadi al-Salqa, and another man was killed in a drone strike on a vehicle. The Palestine Red Crescent and local hospitals reported additional deaths from Israeli shelling in Gaza the same weekend, underscoring the continued high civilian toll of Israeli operations in the territory.
