Russian drones attacked Kyiv repeatedly overnight and into October 4, causing fires in the Desnianskyi and Holosiivskyi districts after debris fell on buildings, and a strike damaged a heating main leaving the Desnianskyi district without hot water. An unexploded Russian drone also crashed in the Obolonskyi district, prompting an emergency response. Kyiv authorities later retracted an earlier report that drone debris had caused a fire on the roof of a 16-storey apartment block in Obolonskyi, though other debris-related incidents across the city were confirmed.
