Ukraine's Security Service and armed forces conducted a series of long-range strikes on Russian military and energy targets, including a 500km operation hitting Su-35 and Su-34 fighter jets at the Khanskaya air base in Adygea, damage to storage facilities at the Tsimbulova drone base in Oryol Oblast, and strikes on a Buk-M3 air defence system and drone launch site near Donetsk. Zelenskyy also said Ukraine struck targets in Russia's Samara and Bryansk oblasts and in the Black Sea. Zelenskyy said Ukraine will intensify strikes on Russian oil refineries in response to Moscow's new campaign of strikes intended to force people to flee Kyiv and other cities, part of an escalating tit-for-tat targeting of strategic infrastructure on both sides.
