GDACS issued green-level notifications for three Northwest Pacific tropical cyclones: Koguma-26 (active Oct 5, peak winds 194 km/h), Choi-wan-26 (active Sept 30–Oct 5, peak winds 250 km/h, affecting Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands and the US with low vulnerability), and Nolo-26 (active Sept 13–Oct 4, peak winds 250 km/h, affecting the US). In each case, GDACS estimated zero population affected by Category 1-equivalent wind speeds, indicating minimal direct impact on populated areas despite the storms' strength at sea.
