Russian forces struck Kharkiv repeatedly on October 4-5 using guided aerial bombs, 'Banderol' munitions and combat drones, hitting residential buildings, cars, a warehouse and an industrial facility in the Slobidskyi and Industrialnyi districts. Officials reported at least six killed and dozens injured across the combined strikes, with roughly 30 people hospitalized, some in serious condition, including children. Regional military administration head Oleh Syniehubov said the attacks were among the most intense on the city in recent weeks. The strikes come amid a broader Russian campaign against Ukrainian cities following Moscow's declared 'new doctrine' of intensified airstrikes.
