David Rush, a former US intelligence officer, pleaded guilty to running a $200 million scam while also confessing to providing classified secrets to a foreign government. Prosecutors said Rush had stashed gold bars in his home and had revealed the existence of a clandestine US human intelligence source, compromising sensitive operations.
