Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian held a call with Russian President Putin stressing strategic ties, and is set to travel to Turkmenistan for CIS and Caspian summits where he will also meet Putin in person. Iranian officials also discussed expanding cooperation with India, Afghanistan, Qatar, Armenia, and met with diplomats from Spain, Japan and Germany, while Mexico City landmarks were lit in Iran's flag colors to mark Tehran Day. These moves reflect Iran's continued efforts to deepen ties with regional and global partners amid Western sanctions pressure and diplomatic isolation from the US.
