Despite the ongoing ceasefire, Israeli strikes and gunfire killed Palestinians across Gaza almost daily, including at least seven people in attacks across Gaza City, al-Mawasi, Bani Suheila and Khan Younis, and five more in Gaza City's Tel al-Hawa and al-Tawam areas, with further deaths reported in a strike on an apartment in al-Sabra that killed several people including children. Gaza's health ministry said ceasefire-era Israeli violations have killed over 1,471 Palestinians since the truce began, while Islamic Relief said Israel is killing or wounding a Palestinian roughly every 90 minutes. The overall Gaza death toll since October 2023 has reached 74,254, with 175,306 injured. Reporting from BBC and Al Jazeera described a peace process that remains largely stalled, with Palestinians still living in cramped tent camps and civilians, including a Gaza playwright honored abroad, grappling daily with the war's lingering trauma.
