Alongside major strikes on Pryluky and Kramatorsk, Russian forces carried out a series of smaller attacks across Ukraine on October 7-8, 2026. These included a strike on Zaporizhzhia killing a driver and injuring five, artillery shelling of Sumy killing one and injuring several, a guided bomb strike in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast killing two men, attacks on warehouses in Kyiv Oblast's Bucha and Fastiv districts, a strike on a civilian business in Rivne Oblast, and a second attack on an animal shelter in Odesa Oblast. While individually less deadly, the attacks reflect the broad geographic scope of Russia's ongoing bombardment of Ukrainian territory during this period of escalation.
