Ukrainian drones struck Russian tech giant Yandex's data centers in Kaluga and Ryazan's Sasovo district for a second consecutive day, knocking out several modules and temporarily disrupting Yandex services and those of client companies. Kaluga Governor Vladislav Shapsha said nine people were injured, five hospitalized, with other infrastructure also damaged; a fire also broke out at a chemical plant in Tver region. Zelensky confirmed Ukraine is responding in kind to Russia's strikes on Ukrainian data centers, which Moscow had called a 'forced digital detox.' The attacks mark the first confirmed Ukrainian strikes on Russian data infrastructure, raising questions about the vulnerability of Russia's internet backbone to further drone attacks.
