Montenegrin authorities detained Mikhail Zvinchuk, founder of the influential pro-war Telegram channel Rybar (1.5 million subscribers), along with his wife and three associates in the town of Risan on October 9. Police reportedly found drones and sophisticated digital equipment in their possession; officials said the operation targeted 'hybrid' Russian influence activities and cited national security concerns. Montenegro subsequently ordered the expulsion of Zvinchuk and the four others for 'potentially dangerous' activities, following several days of surveillance by Montenegrin security services.
