Separate moderate earthquakes were recorded around the Pacific on Oct 9-10: a M5.1 quake in the Northern Molucca Sea, a M4.7 quake near New Caledonia, a M6.3 quake near Norsup, Vanuatu, and a M5.5 quake near Aleneva, Alaska. These were all classified as low-level (green) alerts affecting only small, sparsely populated areas, with no reports of damage or casualties.
