Embark Studios' Arc Raiders saw its concurrent Steam player count hit a seven-month high following the 2.0 update, which added a new map, a free weekend, and a grappling hook inspired by Spider-Man. Separately, an executive producer said the game could eventually be split into distinct PvE and PvP modes.
