On October 10, Russian drone and missile strikes hit Kyiv's Obolonskyi and Solomianskyi districts, injuring at least eight people including a minor, with debris striking a 25-storey residential building, an office building and a restaurant. Damage to an energy facility in Kyiv Oblast caused power and water disruptions that forced a temporary halt of the Kyiv Metro. Following the attack, the Kyiv City State Administration urged residents to stock up on water and food, insulate their homes, and keep power banks charged in anticipation of further strikes on infrastructure.
