A series of smaller earthquakes were recorded globally on October 10-11, including a M5.2 quake south of Java, Indonesia; a M4.5 quake elsewhere in Indonesia; a M4.6 quake at depth in the Philippines affecting an estimated 10,000 people nearby; a M5.3 quake southeast of Easter Island; a M4.9 quake in the Kermadec Islands region; a M5.5 quake near Aleneva, Alaska; and a M6.3 quake northeast of Norsup, Vanuatu. All were classified as green-level alerts by GDACS or listed as significant by USGS, with no deaths, injuries or major damage reported, and most noted as affecting few or no people within 100km.
