Facing war-related damage to industrial power capacity, Iran is seeking more electricity imports from Turkey and Turkmenistan, even as Washington pressures neighboring countries to restrict Tehran's remaining economic routes. Iran and Turkmenistan also agreed to begin construction of a new road to expand transport cooperation between the two countries.
