Manchester City thrashed 10-man Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield, with Doku starring, in their first match since being found guilty of all charges related to breaching Premier League financial rules. The result extended City's perfect start to six matches and moved them three points clear at the top of the table, but pundits and analysts described the win as carrying a sense of 'irrelevance' given the Premier League season remains in limbo while City awaits a potential punishment, possibly including a points deduction. Liverpool's loss also continued their poor home form, with manager Iraola still seeking his first league win at Anfield.
