Activision and Infinity Ward announced that Modern Warfare 4's extraction mode DMZ will be playable starting October 20, ahead of the game's October 23 launch, for players who pre-order digitally; campaign early access begins October 16. The studio also clarified that DMZ will not include a dedicated PvE mode.
