GDACS issued green-level notifications for Typhoon Koguma and Tropical Depression Twenty-Eight, both active in the Northwest Pacific through October 13, 2026. Koguma reached typhoon-strength winds of 222 km/h but was estimated to affect zero population at category 1 strength or higher, while Twenty-Eight remained a weak tropical depression with maximum winds of 56 km/h and no significant population impact reported.
