Violence in Iran's southeast continued to escalate, with the IRGC reporting six killed near Zahedan in clashes involving an alleged kidnapping cell and reports of more than 20 members of an Iran-backed militia killed or wounded. A separate HRANA report found that armed attacks and security operations in the region have left at least 94 people dead and 33 wounded since March 31, with fighting growing more frequent and involving heavier weapons, pointing to a worsening security crisis in Sistan-Baluchestan province.
