Veterans of Disco Elysium developer ZA/UM, operating under new studio Summer Eternal, revealed their next project, an 'incendiary RPG' called Red Rooster that blends text-heavy isometric role-playing with immersive-sim-style world-building and player agency. The team, which includes writer Argo Tuulik and narrator Lenval Brown, has also adopted a novel player- and developer-owned non-profit studio structure, intentionally distancing the new game from being framed as a 'Disco Elysium successor.'
