A flash flood swept through Nepal's Gorkha district on a recent Sunday, smashing into the Soti Khola Bridge and causing it to buckle before being carried away down the Budhi Gandaki River, about 60 miles west of Kathmandu. Video captured the moment the bridge collapsed. This was the second bout of serious flooding to hit the region in a matter of months, underscoring the area's recurring vulnerability to flash floods in central Nepal.
