IO Interactive announced that the long-delayed Switch 2 version of 007 First Light will launch March 18, 2027, citing the need for additional time for 'optimisation and performance' after an earlier delay from its original summer target. Preorders on Switch 2 will include an exclusive 'GoldenEye Suit' cosmetic featuring the oversized tie Pierce Brosnan wore in the 1995 film GoldenEye, a bonus not offered on any other platform. The announcement gives Switch 2 owners a firm date for the James Bond title and a notable exclusive incentive, following months of uncertainty about the port's status.
