Valve is overhauling the Steam achievements system, introducing separate achievement sets for DLC and season passes, along with an easier way to compare progress with friends. The update is currently in beta and is expected to roll out more broadly in about a month. The change addresses long-standing complaints that expansion content achievements got lumped in confusingly with base-game lists, and reflects Valve's ongoing efforts to modernize core Steam social and tracking features.
