Several UK political disputes over Israel-Palestine advocacy surfaced this week: the Welsh parliament dropped national poet Hanan Issa from its King Charles-attended opening ceremony over a Gaza reference in her poem; a UK Green Party member, Lubna Speitan, said she received death threats over an anti-Zionism motion; a legal regulator dismissed complaints against barristers who serve as patrons of UK Lawyers for Israel; and Labour MP John McDonnell raised alarm in parliament over the arrest of journalists at a Palestine Action protest in Leicester.
