Beyond the major strikes on Aden and Riyadh, smaller skirmishes continued across Yemen's front lines. The Houthis claimed to have shot down a Saudi Wing Loong II reconnaissance drone over Marib, while the Saudi-led coalition said it destroyed a drone headed toward the kingdom's Eastern Province and intercepted another near Khamis Mushait. Separately, air strikes hit Houthi positions south of Taiz city, and Yemeni government-allied forces reported repelling a Houthi attack on Taiz's Dhubab airport. These incidents reflect the day-to-day intensity of the entrenched Yemen civil war, which has drawn in Saudi Arabia, the Houthis and their regional backers.
