Israeli forces carried out raids across the occupied West Bank on Oct. 15, including a large operation in Tulkarm's Jamal Abdel Nasser Square where a Palestinian youth was injured by live-fire shrapnel to the head and several young men were detained. In Jenin, IDF commandos arrested an alleged Palestinian arms dealer, while near a settlement a civilian was lightly hurt in a hit-and-run that the IDF said was not terror-related; settlers were separately reported to have attacked Palestinian vehicles, stolen olive harvests, and burned a car. The Palestinian Colonisation and Wall Resistance Commission documented 21 separate attacks by Israeli forces and settlers against Palestinian farmers across Nablus, Ramallah, al-Bireh, Hebron, Jerusalem, Jenin and Salfit in just a 12-hour period, underscoring the scale of ongoing settler and military violence during the olive harvest season.
